Political jurisdiction such as cities, villages or towns incorporated under state law to provide governance to defined geographical areas. Which are more compact and more densely populated than counties, which are called municipalities. Counties are less compacted and less densely populated,also they are geographic subdivisions of state government. Counties have a form of county governance in which executive, legislative, and administrative powers are vested in elected commissioners, which is called county commissions system. Which does not work alone, the county also has a council-executive system which is a form of country governance in which legislative powers are vested in county commissioner and executive powers are vested in an independently elected executive.
